The ROCKIT Identity and Installation
Overview: In the heart of Edinburgh, a city where ancient architecture meets the undulating landscapes, a unique design journey began. It culminated at the forefront of the global climate conversation in Dubai, with an art installation that became the visual synonym for cutting-edge environmental technology.

The Challenge: To create a physical manifestation of the ROCKIT technology—a system designed to permanently isolate harmful gases beneath the Earth's surface. This project aimed to not only encapsulate the identity of the ROCKIT brand but also to engage a diverse audience at the COP28 conference through an interactive installation that tells the story of sustainability.

The Solution: Leveraging the core colors of the ROCKIT brand and an innovative design metaphor, I developed an identity that emphasized the technology's robust and enduring nature. The challenge was to translate a complex scientific process into an immersive experience that was both informative and visually captivating. I realized a design that bridged the gap between abstract technology and tangible impact.

Execution: My installation broke away from the conventional digital displays. We constructed a transparent dome filled with floating balloons, symbolizing the trapped greenhouse gases, all held within a net-like structure representing the ROCKIT technology. The experience was designed to be interactive, with fitness balls replacing traditional seating to encourage engagement and conversation.

Innovation: The display system was designed to be affordable, adaptable, and reusable—reflecting the sustainability ethos of ROCKIT. By incorporating elements such as bubble machines, I introduced dynamic movement, drawing parallels to the effervescent nature of gases and the solid stability provided by ROCKIT's solution.

Outcome: The installation became a focal point of the conference, attracting attendees and facilitating discussions around sustainable technology. It was a testament to the power of collaborative creativity in conveying complex environmental solutions.

Acknowledgments: Special thanks to Heriot-Watt University, and to King Charles III for the serendipitous backdrop his visit provided to our installation, garnering additional media attention and elevating the project's visibility.
Logo Design: The ROCKIT Visual Identity

Conceptualization: The ROCKIT logo is crafted to mirror the core principles of the technology it represents. It stands as a visual manifesto of the brand's essence, aiming to visually articulate the impermeability and unity of ROCKIT's groundbreaking sealant solution.

Design Evolution: Each letter of the logo is a harmonious blend of two distinct colors interlocking seamlessly, symbolizing the technology's function of sealing away harmful gases. This interplay of colors within each character reflects the process of creating a unified barrier—a protective layer that encapsulates and isolates, much like ROCKIT's solution seals off subterranean environments from the atmosphere.

Final Logo: Presented in a stark contrast of teal and white against a black backdrop, the final logo is a testament to integration and protection. Each letter, a microcosm of the sealing process, locks together, forming a united front that symbolizes ROCKIT's commitment to a secure and sustainable environment.
